چکیده

We derive an analytic expression for the scalar one-loop pentagon and hexagon functions which is convenient for subsequent numerical integration. These functions are of relevance in the computation of next-to-leading order radiative corrections to multi-particle cross sections. The hexagon integral is represented in terms of n-dimensional triangle functions and (n+2)dimensional box functions. If infrared poles are present this representation naturally splits into a finite and a pole part. For a fast numerical integration of the finite part we propose simple oneand two-dimensional integral representations. We set up an iterative numerical integration method to calculate these integrals directly in an efficient way. The method is illustrated by explicit results for pentagon and hexagon functions with some generic physical kinematics.

Casimir entropy is an important aspect of casimir effect and at the nanoscale is visible. A meshless discrete Galerkin method for solving the universe evolution differential equations based on the moving least squares approximation

In terms of observational data, there are some problems in the standard Big Bang cosmological model. Inflation era, early accelerated phase of the evolution of the universe, can successfully solve these problems. The inflation epoch can be explained by scalar inflaton field. The evolution of this field is presented by a non-linear differential equation. This equation is considered in FLRW model...

NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CASIMIR EFFECT DUE TO A SCALAR FIELD

In this paper, we study the Casimir effect of a scalar field with Dirichlet boundary condition in some certain topologies. By numerical analysis we show that Casimir energy is a shape-dependent quantity. We also obtain the phase transition in different topologies in which the Casimir force changes from attractive to repulsive or vice versa.  eararqr

Bernoulli operational matrix method for system of linear Volterra integral ‎equations

In this paper, the numerical technique based on hybrid Bernoulli and Block-Pulse functions has been developed to approximate the solution of system of linear Volterra integral equations. System of Volterra integral equations arose in many physical problems such as elastodynamic, quasi-static visco-elasticity and magneto-electro-elastic dynamic problems. These functions are formed by the hybridi...

Earth Pressure behind an Integral Bridge Abutment and Comparison with that behind a Conventional Bridge Abutment under Traffic Loads

Integral bridges are gaining increased popularity because of both economic and fast construction associated with the omission of bearing supports and expansion joints. In the present study the cyclic earth pressure behind integral bridge abutments under traffic surcharges are investigated and compared with that induced behind the abutment of  conventional bridges (with isolated deck and abutme...
